CIBER'S i.Consultant Program Offers New Incentives for Internet-skilled Consultants; CIBER's Internet Consultants Increase 20 Percent Since January 2000.

CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR), the trusted technology leader transforming businesses to be agile, scalable and connected, has created the i.Consultant(TM) Proficiency and Certification Program, providing financial incentives and intensive Internet-skill development to attract and retain industry-leading consultants. The program, which will award stock options to consultants who are proficient in Internet skills and certified through training via the online CIBER University, is part of CIBER's ongoing transition toward growing its Internet solutions business.

The program, which focuses on the three "R's" - recruiting, retention and retraining - is expected to help CIBER increase its number of Internet consultants by several hundred over the next year. Since January the number of Internet consultants has already increased 20 percent.

The program consists of three levels of required proficiency and an associated certification. The three levels are Internet Consultant, Senior Internet Consultant and Principal Internet Consultant. Currently employed CIBER consultants and employee candidates can establish one of these three levels of Internet proficiency through virtue of their prior experience. Certification is obtained by passing designated tests offered through CIBER University, an online training facility that provides a single resource for employee career development and Internet skills training. Consultants who undertake the work necessary to establish a level of Internet proficiency and further become certified will receive stock options for CIBER common stock.
