 Marine Bancshares, Inc. today announced that net income for the first quarter ended March 31, 2001, was $5.6 million as compared to $3.9 million for the first quarter of 2000, an increase of 43.1%. Net income for the first quarter of 2001 includes a $0.7 million gain, net of taxes on the sale of securities. Diluted earnings per share diluted earnings per share
