CHYRON CORPORATION ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGES.

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 1996--Chyron Corporation (NYSE:CHY) announced today the election of S. James Coppersmith and Isaac Hersly to the Board of Directors of the Company. The Company also announced that John A. Servizio, Frederick D. Brown and Robert E. Mulcahy have resigned from the Company's Board. With these changes, the Company's Board stands at eight members from nine.

Mr. Coppersmith, age 63, is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Emerson College. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Sun America Asset Management Corporation, Waban, Inc., The Pizzeria Uno Corporation, Kushner-Locke, Inc. and the Boston Stock Exchange. From August 1990 to December 1993, Mr. Coppersmith was the President and General Manager of WCVB-TV, New England's Channel 5.

Mr. Hersly, 47, was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Chyron on July 27, 1995, prior to which he was Executive Vice President of the Company. Prior to joining Chyron, Mr. Hersly was Vice President of Engineering of Capital Cities/American Broadcasting Company (ABC-TV).
