CHURCH TO CELEBRATE ITS CAMPUS EXPANSION DESERT VINEYARD HAS NEW CAFE, COURTYARD, FOUNTAIN.Byline: Daily News LANCASTER -- After a three-year project to expand its campus, the Desert Vineyard vineyard, land on which cultivation of the grape—known as viticulture—takes place. The church will celebrate the opening of its new ministry center at Challenger Way and Avenue I and addition of three new weekend worship services, bringing the total weekend worship services to seven. Service times are Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon. The church's new Cafe Sanctuary, named for its licensed Starbucks cafe and bookstore, provides an additional 400 seats separate from the existing 1,100 seat main sanctuary. Services in the Cafe Sanctuary are led by a host pastor and worship band, with Parker shown on a large screen via live video feed from the main sanctuary.
