CHURCH MEMBERS CLAIM BISHOP MISUSED FUNDS.Byline: Susan Abram Staff Writer BURBANK - Members of a local church filed suit against their bishop, saying he mismanaged more than $4 million in donations but refuses to show them how he spent the money. Elias Danho, a member of the church's finance committee who spoke on behalf of Kaplan, refused to discuss specific allegations contained in the suit. But he said the suit does not represent the feelings of the entire congregation. ``These people represent 10 percent of the congregation,'' Danho said. ``We've been here in Burbank for 15 years. We've never had any problems. They have an agenda against the bishop.'' On recent Wednesdays and Sundays, supporters of the lawsuit held protests at the church, demanding Kaplan's dismissal.
