CHURCH CLAIM REJECTED BY CITY CONGREGATION FREE TO FILE SUIT.

This past week, the city of Moorpark rejected the church's legal claim for damages, leaving Lighthouse Assembly free to press a case in court over the Las Posas Feeder feeder

Contractor Joe Valverde declined to respond to the allegations, referring all questions to his insurance companies.

The pipeline, part of a bigger project to store water for use during a drought or other emergency, is set for completion in February.

As a sign of solidarity, Sugarman has joined several Mira Sol Drive residents who say their private road was under siege siege, assault against a city or fortress with the purpose of capturing it. The history of siegecraft parallels the development of fortification and, later, artillery.  from heavy trucks for weeks.

Potholes, trenches and cracks are remnants of construction activity.

``It has brought a small amount of the community together. They are concerned for each other,'' Sugarman said.

Attorney Steven Zelig said he is amassing a list of unhappy homeowners and businesses - he said he has identified nearly 100 - who have already filed claims in the case and may file one big suit.
