CHURCH BELLS PEAL TO RECALL VICTIMS.

The bell ringing was important to a Providence woman who attended.

``I was raised in an abusive home,'' said Maria Quindlen, a victim of childhood sexual abuse. At the age of 44, she is a nurse who hasn't worked in four years because she is disabled by depression stemming from her abuse.
