CHRYSLER REPORTS U.S. AND CANADIAN ASSEMBLY PLANT SCHEDULE FOR WEEK ENDING NOV. 27

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) reports seven of its eight U.S. assembly plants and two of its three Canadian assembly plants will operate next week. All U.S. assembly plants will not operate Thursday and Friday next week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
 Jefferson North (Detroit) Assembly Plant will operate two eight-hour shifts on Saturday, two nine-hour shifts two days next week and two eight-hour shifts one day next week.
 St. Louis (Fenton, Mo.) Assembly Plant II will operate three seven- hour shifts for three days next week.
 Dodge City (Warren, Mich.), Belvidere (Ill.), Sterling Heights (Mich.) and Toledo (Ohio) assembly plants will operate two eight-hour shifts for three days next week.
 New Mack Avenue Viper (Detroit) Assembly Plant will operate one eight-hour shift for three days next week.
 Newark (Del.) Assembly Plant will not operate next week to adjust inventories. Approximately 3,500 employees will be on temporary layoff and operations will resume on Dec. 7.
 In Canada, Bramalea (Ontario) Assembly Plant will operate one eight- hour shift on Saturday and each day next week.
 Windsor (Ontario) Assembly Plant will operate two eight-hour shifts on Saturday and each day next week.
 Pillette Road (Ontario) Assembly Plant will not operate to adjust inventories. Approximately 1,500 employees will be on temporary layoff and operations will resume Nov. 30.
