 CHRYSLER REALIGNS EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND PERSONNEL OFFICES
 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) today announced a realignment of its Employee Relations and Corporate Personnel offices to support its goal of being among the most efficient and highest-quality companies in the worldwide marketplace.
 Under the new organization, Gary C. Valade is named vice president- Corporate Personnel and Thomas Gallagher is named vice president- Employee Relations.
 Both men report to Thomas G. Denomme, executive vice president- Corporate Staff Group.
 Valade was vice president-Personnel, Administration and Development. Gallagher, who was elected a vice president of the company today, was executive director-Employee Relations.
 The departments Valade will lead include Compensation and Benefits Planning; the Group Personnel offices at Chrysler Center, Chrysler Technology Center and Manufacturing; Equal Employment Planning; Facilities and Services; Personnel Development, Training and Chrysler Pentastar Aviation, Inc.
 The departments Gallagher will lead include Union Relations and Security Operations, Health Care and Benefit Administration, Occupational Safety and Health Services, Personnel Planning and Administration and the joint training activities at the UAW/Chrysler National Training Center.
