CHRYSLER INCREASES DIVIDEND

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) today announced that its Board of Directors has voted to increase its dividend by 33 percent, boosting the quarterly dividend from $0.15 to $0.20 per share on the Company's common stock. The dividend is payable Jan. 15, 1994, to shareholders of record on Dec. 15, 1993.
 Chrysler Chairman Robert J. Eaton said, "We are pleased with our recent operating results and credit rating upgrades and wanted to share this success with our shareholders. However, our strong performance is not a reason for us to get complacent. We need to stay focused on upcoming new product launches, improving our quality and our financial objectives including fully funding our pension plans, increasing our cash reserve and continuously improving our cost structure."
 The Board of Directors also declared a dividend of $1.15625 per share on the Chrysler 4.625 percent depositary shares representing 1/10 share of Series A convertible preferred stock. The preferred stock dividend is payable Jan. 15, 1994 to shareholders of record on Dec. 15, 1993.
