CHRISTOS' HEART WAS IN GREECE.


HEARTS star Christos Karipidis has revealed how the club blocked his summer return to Greece Greece, Gr. Hellas or Ellas, republic (2005 est. pop. 10,668,000), 50,944 sq mi (131,945 sq km), SE Europe. It occupies the southernmost part of the Balkan Peninsula and borders on the Ionian Sea in the west, on the Mediterranean Sea in the south, on  after the birth of his child.

The 25-year-old signed from PAOK PAOK Panthessalonikios Athlitikos Omilos Konstantinoupolis (Athletic Club of Constantinople in Thessaloniki; Thessaloniki, Greece)  Salonika in July 2006 and the Greeks wanted to re-sign him.

Karipidis said: "Having a child changed things. I want what is best for my family and for me and that was being in Greece.

"PA OK offered money but Hearts wanted more.

"I spoke to the boss who asked me to stay. These things happen."
