CHRISTOPHER STEFFEN APPOINTED CITICORP VICE CHAIRMAN.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 1995--Citicorp announced that Christopher J. Steffen was appointed a Vice Chairman of Citicorp and Citibank, N.A., today.

Mr. Steffen joined Citicorp's senior management on May 20, 1993. He was appointed a Director of Citicorp and Citibank and Senior Executive Vice President on June 15, 1993.

Prior to joining Citicorp, Mr. Steffen had extensive experience in senior positions with international industrial corporations. He was Chief Financial Officer of Eastman Kodak Company; a Director, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Honeywell, Inc. from 1989 to 1993; Vice President and Controller of Chrysler Corporation from 1981 to 1989; Vice President of Finance of Hyatt Corporation; Corporate Controller and Assistant to the President of Whitman, and Vice President and General Manager of Midas Corporation, a Whitman subsidiary.
