 CHRISTOPHER D. CORRIGAN ELECTED TO TYCO'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 EXETER, N.H., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Tyco Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: TYC) announced today that Christopher D. Corrigan has been elected to Tyco's board of directors. Corrigan will replace Robert Mansfield as a nominee of Tyco Investments (Australia) Limited (formerly Wormald International Limited).
 Corrigan is a director of Tyco Investments Australia and also serves as the managing director of Lang Corporation, Tyco Investments' largest shareholder. He previously held the position of managing director of Bankers Trust Company's Asia Pacific Group.
 A resident of Sydney, Corrigan holds a bachelor of economics degree from Australia National University, has completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard University and is a fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia.
 Tyco is a worldwide manufacturer of fire protection systems, flow control products, electrical and electronic components and packaging materials.
