CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUPS SCHEDULED COUNTYWIDE.

'Tis the season - to figure out where to pitch the tree now that the Christmas presents have all been unwrapped.

For all the Christmas tree collections, customers are asked to remove tree stands, nails, decorations and tinsel tin·sel

In Lancaster, Waste Management will accept trees from Thursday through Jan. 17 with regular trash pickup.

In Palmdale, Christmas trees will be picked up by Palmdale Disposal Co. during the week of Jan. 6-10 on customers' regular trash day.

Trees put out after that week must be cut in half so they will fit in the regular trash truck.

Los Angeles County will run Christmas tree collection centers for the next two weekends. One collection point is in Palmdale in the Home Depot The Home Depot (NYSE: HD) is an American retailer of home improvement and construction products and services.

In Rosamond, Benz Sanitation customers will be charged $10 for curbside pickup of trees.
