 residents Christmas Day.

Restaurant employees and their friends and families will volunteer to serve a traditional holiday meal from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 25 at the restaurant, 2162 E. Palmdale Blvd.

Guests will eat roasted turkey with wheatberry stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes n. pl. 1. Potatoes which have been boiled and mashed to a pulpy consistency, usu. with sparing addition of milk, salt, butter, or other flavoring. It is a popular accompaniment to a meat course [U.S., 1900's], providing bulk and calories to a meal.  with sage gravy, green beans green beans

Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance. Last year's toy drive was so successful that organizers are making plans this Christmas to also give care packages to adult guests.

Tickets are required for the free meal because the restaurant is closed to the public.

Four hundred tickets are available at Grace Resource Center, 45134 Sierra Highway, Lancaster, and at SAVES, 37925 Sierra Highway, Palmdale, as well as through the Antelope Valley Mental Health Association, Lancaster Community Shelter, Valley Oasis Domestic Violence Shelter, Valley Child Guidance Center, Agencies Council for Emergency Services emergency services Emergency care '…services …necessary to prevent death or serious impairment of health and, because of the danger to life or health, require the use of the most accessible hospital available and equipped to furnish those services' , Salvation Army, Discovery Center and Victory Outreach.
