CHRISTIE ENJOYS DAZZLING DEBUT; MIDLAND ALLIANCE.


STRIKER Iyesden Christie bagged a debut goal to help Coventry Sphinx sphinx (sfĭngks), mythical beast of ancient Egypt, frequently symbolizing the pharaoh as an incarnation of the sun god Ra. The sphinx was represented in sculpture usually in a recumbent position with the head of a man and the body of a lion,  to a thrilling 3-2 victory over visitors Rocester.

Coleshill Town and Oadby Town drew 2-2, while Bridgnorth Town were 2-0 victors at Friar Lane.

Bryan Craven scored with a first-half penalty for Malvern Town but it wasn't enough to stop them from sliding to a 3-1 defeat at home to Kirby Muxloe Kirby Muxloe is a dormitory village 5 miles southwest of Leicester in the parish of Glenfield.
