CHRIS' EXTRA MILES; DJ tours UK to thank listeners.

RADIO 1 DJ Chris Moyles Christopher Moyles (born February 22, 1974 in Leeds[1]) is an English disc jockey. He currently hosts the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, entitled The Chris Moyles Show.  is coming to Scotland next week to say thanks to his fans.

The roly-poly loudmouth will become the longestserving breakfast DJ on Radio 1 on Monday when he overtakes a record set by legend Tony Blackburn Tony Blackburn (born 29 January 1943 in Guildford, Surrey) is an award winning English disc jockey, who broadcast on the "pirate" stations Radio Caroline and Radio London in the 1960s and was the first presenter to appear on BBC Radio 1 in 1967.  more than 30 years ago.

Chris and his crew will visit four British cities in four nights, hosting their legendary karaoke night - A Night With The Chris Moyles Show.

The team will come to Glasgow on Wednesday, September 9 to celebrate with listeners at the The Old Fruitmarket.

And his breakfast show will be broadcast live from BBC BBC
 in full British Broadcasting Corp.

 Scotland's HQ in Glasgow the next day.

Chris said: "We've been doing the breakfast show since January 5, 2004, and want to say 'thank you' to everybody for listening and staying with us.

"By going out on the road we're trying to thank as many people as we can."

Chris's award-winning show has been keeping more than seven million listeners entertained for five years.

He will celebrate reaching the milestone by travelling through the UK on a tour bus with his team - Comedy Dave, producers Rachel and Aled, newsreader A client program that is used to read messages from Internet-based discussion groups (the venerable Usenet) or syndication feeds such as RSS and Atom. Some programs provide a search and organization tool for both newsgroups and feeds as well as local e-mail messages, contacts and other  Dom and sport reporter Carrie.

The tour kicks off on Monday with a live show from Plymouth.

They then head off to Wales to host a karaoke night in the Students' Union at Cardiff University.

On Tuesday, September 8, Chris returns to his home town, Leeds, for a karaoke night at The O2 Academy.

The Glasgow gig is the next night and the tour will end in London on Thursday, September 10, with a karaoke finale in Indigo at the O2 (The Dome).

Moyles fans who would like to go to the gigs need to register for tickets at www.bbc.co.uk/radio1. Registration will be open until Friday, September 4, at 9am.

On Monday, Chris will have been hosting his breakfast show for 2073days.
