CHOICE To Hold Physician Seminar In Orlando.

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 5, 2003

CHOICE Medical Management Services, Inc. will hold a physicians seminar at the 58th Annual Workers Compensation Educational Conference on Sunday, August 17, from noon to five. Designed to equip physicians and their staff to better navigate Florida's workers compensation system, the seminar provides four continuing education continuing education: see adult education.

 credits for licensed Florida physicians, psychologists, and psychiatrists. Cost is free to those who register by August 7.

This is the fourth in a series of seminars being held around the state. Approximately 55 attended the first one in Tampa on April 10, and a total of 70 attended two half-day seminars held on May 15 in Fort Lauderdale Fort Lauderdale (lô`dərdāl), residential, commercial, and resort city (1990 pop. 149,377), seat of Broward co., SE Fla., on the Atlantic coast; settled around a fort built (c.1837) in the Seminole War, inc. 1911. . The unique format brings together the different industry players - providers, case managers and employers - to foster better understanding of each segment's role and needs.

The seminar in Orlando will feature the following sessions: 1) "Managed Care Law Review," presented by Jim McConnaughhay, Esq. and Lou Stern, Esq. from the Tallahassee law firm of McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver, PA; 2) "Treating Patients for Successful Return to Work: The Role of the Primary Care Physician," led by Richard Dolsey, M.D., of Physician's Health Centers of South Florida; and 3) "Managed Care and the Employer," an open forum in which employers, physicians and case managers ask and answer questions about current issues.

 Physicians (ABQAURP ABQAURP American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians ), the seminar offers physicians four CMEs (Continuing Medical Education continuing medical education See CME.  credits). Nurses and psychologists can also earn four continuing education credits for attending the seminar.
