Sunrise service is a worship service on Easter. It takes the place of the Roman Catholic tradition of the Easter Vigil, and is practiced by mainly Protestant churches. at Vasquez Rocks Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park is a 905 acre (3 km²) northern Los Angeles County, California USA park acquired by LA County government in the 1970s. This is the 98th consecutive year that Easter services have been held at Red Rock Canyon, which is located on Highway 14 about 20 miles north of Mojave. The one-hour service will include music by Pearblossom Foursquare Church and Pearblossom Community United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism). .
