CHOICE Medical Management Nurses Certified as Medicare Set-Aside Consultants.

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Commission on Healthcare Certification (CHCC) has certified four Registered Nurses at CHOICE Medical Management Services, LLC as Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC). They are:

--Jean Feldman, RN, BSN, MSCC

--Rebecca Pierce, RN, MHS, CRC, CCM, LNCC, CLCP, MSCC

--Nancy Sollenberger, RN, CCM, MSCC

--Denise Guzzo, RN, CCM, MSCC

CHCC offers the MSCC certification program for case managers, health care professionals, attorneys and insurance professionals who are involved in authorizing, developing or overseeing Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements for injured employees who meet the criteria for Medicare Set-Aside when settling workers' compensation claims.

CHOICE Medical Management offers a national Medicare Set-Aside Allocations (MSAs) service for workers' compensation insurance carriers, Third Party Administrators, and self-insured employers to comply with the Medicare as Secondary Payer Act. This federal statute, enforced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), requires workers' compensation payers to fully protect Medicare's interest when settling future medical benefits from work-related injuries or illnesses.
