CHOICE Medical Management Appoints Director of Specialty Care Services.

TAMPA, Fla. -- CHOICE Medical Management Services, LLC has named Andrea S. Lewis, RN, director of its Specialty Care Services unit. The position encompasses researching and developing specialty care management programs.

During her 33-year career in health care and insurance, Lewis has gained considerable experience in implementing managed care and quality management programs along with an in-depth working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process. Most recently, she was director of Regulations and Compliance for the Florida Association of Homes for the Aging in Tallahassee, Fla. Lewis previously served as Registered Nursing Consultant to the Agency of Health Care Administration for both its Workers' Compensation Managed Care Program and its Medicaid Policy Development's Organ Transplant Program.

Other past employers include ASL Healthcare Consulting, MetraComp, a United Health Care company; PCA Solutions; Genex; Princeton Hospital in Orlando; and Principal Mutual Insurance Co.

A registered nurse, Lewis holds a certification in Managed Health Care from the Academy for Healthcare Management.
