Chelsea Piers is scheduled to open in several stages during the summer and fall of 1995. The various restaurants will commence operations as each section of the project opens for business.

Chock full o'Nuts, a major U.S. coffee roaster and distributor, re-entered the retail restaurant business with the introduction of its cafe concept in June 1994. Five restaurants are now operating in New York City, plus five double-drive thru units under its Quikava division. Chock also recently signed a test agreement with Pizza Hut Canada, as well as a license agreement for a retail unit at JFK International Airport.
