with a sprained knee ligament in its loss last weekend against D.C.
United. He'll be out 4-6 weeks. Costa Rican defender Douglas
Sequeira settled his visa problems and likely will start in central
defense with former Galaxy defender Ryan Suarez.
San Jose (0-0-1) update: Brian Ching and Ronald Cerritos scored
first-half goals for the Earthquakes, but visiting New England rallied
for a 2-2 tie in last weekend's opener. When San Jose scores first
at home, it's unbeaten in 46 games dating to 1999.
