CHIVAS USA ``SANGRE NUEVA'' TRYOUTS: MLS' Chivas USA, in Association With the Ahwatukee Foothill Soccer Club, to Hold Professional Try Outs for Top-Level Boys Ages 14-20 on June 3 and June 4.

WHAT/WHY: CHIVAS USA "SANGRE NUEVA" TRYOUT -- Seeking new blood for
        their sports organization, Chivas USA, the sister team of the
        100-year old Club Deportivo Guadalajara, is holding tryouts to
        field teams for both Major League Soccer (MLS) and the MLS
        Reserve Division -- a minor league team for the MLS. "Chivas"
        also nurtures and encourages raw talent and top-level players
        through an array of programs administered through the Chivas
        USA Futbol Academies. The event is brought to Phoenix by AK
        Sports Management and sponsored by KMOH-TV 6 / KEJR 43 Phoenix
        and ESPN Deportes Radio 710 AM. One Scout from Chivas
        Guadalajara and one from Chivas USA will be on-site. Players
        who are selected will receive:

        14-17 Year Olds:
        ----------------
        --  Scholarship in either Guadalajara or LA with full room and
            board
        --  Contract to join the Chivas organization upon turning 18
            years old

        18 Years and older:
        -------------------
        --  College scholarship
        --  Contract to join the Chivas organization

WHO:    Participants must be top-level boys between 14 and 20 years
        old.

        Registration begins on Saturday from

        --  6:00 AM-8:00 AM for Boys age 14-17
        --  11:00 AM-1:00 PM for Boys age 18-20

            --  Cost is $10 per registered participant and can be paid
                in either cash or money order. No personal checks
                accepted.
