WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- CHIRAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC., a wholly owned subsidiary of Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd. of Japan, announced today the opening of its new Headquarters and Technical Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

This new facility, located at 800 North Five Points Road in West Goshen Township, includes 2,400 square meters for its business center and laboratories, including a state-of- the-art separations center with new, preparative scale SMB, HPLC and SFC chromatography equipment.

As the market leader in chiral chromatography products and services in North America, CHIRAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC., supplies chiral chromatography columns for analysis and Quality Control purposes to nearly every pharmaceutical company in the US. In addition, the company supplies preparative chiral columns for isolation of single enantiomer compounds, and bulk chiral stationary phases for use in pilot and commercial scale chromatography systems. At the new facility, the company will operate an expanded Outsourcing Center for separation of chiral intermediates and APIs in pre-clinical and clinical evaluation.
