CHIPCOM SELLS ETHERMODEM BUSINESS TO INTERNATIONAL CONTROL SERVICES.


SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 16, 1995--Chipcom Corporation (Nasdaq/CHPM) today announced it has sold its entire Ethermodem business to International Control Services, Inc. (ICS (1) (Internet Connection Sharing) A Windows feature that enables two or more computers to share one Internet connection. Effective with this purchase, ICS assumes full responsibility for operating the Ethermodem business as a going concern, including all marketing, manufacturing and servicing rights.
