CHIP offering free seminar May 1.


The Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP) will hold a seminar May 1 from 8:45 a.m. to noon at the Association of the Bar Building, 42 West 44th St.

The event will feature the following roundtable discussions:

* Energy -- discuss strategies, market conditions & conservation. Moderated by Gerald Gerald - ["Gerald: An Exceptional Lazy Functional Programming Language", A.C. Reeves et al, in Functional Programming, Glasgow 1989, K. Davis et al eds, Springer 1990].  Pindus Pindus (pĭn`dəs), Gr. Píndhos, chief mountain range of Greece, extending c.100 mi (160 km) S from the Albanian border through NW Greece. Mt. Smólikas (8,650 ft/2,637 m) is the highest peak. , president, U.S. Energy Systems. Presentations by Stuyvesant Fuel Services, N.Y. State Energy Research and Development Authority and others.

* Insurance -- Terrorism and environmental insurance, and how to lower your insurance costs. Moderated by Paul Paul, 1901–64, king of the Hellenes (1947–64), brother and successor of George II. He married (1938) Princess Frederika of Brunswick. During Paul's reign Greece followed a pro-Western policy, and the Cyprus question was temporarily resolved.  Brensilber, CHIP board chairman. Presentations by Paul Brensilber and Genatt Associates Insurance.

Management -- Update on property management. Moderated by Jeff Farkas Jeff Farkas (born January 24, 1978, in Williamsville, New York, U.S.) is a retired American professional ice hockey center. He was drafted in the third round, 57th overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. , CHIP executive committee. Presentations by Meridian Meridian (mərĭd`ēən), city (1990 pop. 41,036), seat of Lauderdale co., E Miss., near the Ala. line; settled 1831, inc. 1860.  Capital Group, Vantage Group, Cappa Consulting Group and others.
