CHIME FESTIVAL WILL DEBUT AT KNOTT'S BERRY FARM JUNE 11-13

 LOS ANGELES, July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Music and film producer Lou Adler is producing the first children's music and entertainment festival June 11, 12 and 13 at Knott's Berry Farm. The CHIME (Childrens Hospital International Music and Entertainment) Festival will benefit Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
 The Festival will commence at 10 a.m. Friday morning and go into full gear at 7 p.m. that evening with a VIP celebrity gala at the Wilderness Hall next to the main stage. Performances by artists such as Waylon Jennings, Cheech Marin, Joanie Bartels, Rockapella and Rosenschontz will take place between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Celebrity hosts will include Debbie Allen, David Faustino, Daryl Hannah, Chick Hearn, Norm Nixon, Michael Richards, Byron Scott, Daniel Stern and James Worthy. Throughout the weekend musical performers and characters such as Bart Simpson, Inspector Gadget, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Snoopy and Raggedy Ann & Andy will entertain children of all ages.
 Special VIP tickets, $100 for adults and $50 for children, with special family rates available, allow access to the park for a full day and night, a special VIP reception and preferred seating at the evening performance (contact Eve Somer at 310-456-1724). Standard admission tickets for the festival, available through Ticketmaster at 213-480-3232, are $25.95 for adults and $15.95 for children.
