CHILDREN'S AUTHOR TO READ WORKS.

Award-winning children's author and illustrator Mary Ann Fraser will hold a special reading and book signing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the lower Gallery of the Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  Cultural Arts Center.

The reading is free and coincides with the showing of the Mary Ann Fraser Collection in the Lower Gallery, which features several of the artist's acrylic illustrations from her books as well as a sampling of her oil paintings.

Her illustrations and other works have been exhibited throughout the United States.

The Mary Ann Fraser Collection is open to the public for viewing during regular gallery hours, Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and is exhibited in the Community Room during all performances at the Cultural Arts Center.
