CHILD-CARE CENTER TO OPEN MOORPARK COLLEGE FACILITY WILL SERVE BOTH CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY.

MOORPARK - A new Child Development Center will open this week at Moorpark College Moorpark College is a California-state funded community college located on a 134 acre (542,000 m²) property reclining on a hill in Moorpark, a town in Ventura County, California. , providing child care for the college and the community and serving as a laboratory for the college's child development instructional program.

Ground was broken for the $8.86 million, 12,400-square-foot center in April 2005, and it will now provide facilities for 103 children from 18 months to 5 years old. The project was funded by the state of California and by the Measure S construction bond approved by Ventura County voters in 2002.
