CHILD PORN ON HIS COMPUTER.

MURDERER Lukasz Reszpondek was last year jailed for possessing indecent images on his computer.

Officers seized his computer as part of the Tati inquiry - but they also found terrible images of children.

He was charged and jailed for 32 weeks in October 2008 and ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years.

Judge Philip Hughes took into account the defendant's guilty pleas to 12 offences of making and possessing the 83 images and the fact he had no previous convictions. But the offences were so serious it had to be custody, the judge explained.

Mark Connor, prosecuting, said he was assisting the police over the Tati murder case and consented to the police taking his computer away.

The Toshiba laptop was examined and 83 images found, most at levels one, two and three but six at the serious level four and one at five, the most serious. The photographs featured children as young as eight said Mr Connor. Experts who examined the computers found that there had originally been 302 files in the same folder, including 67 videos, but they had been deleted by the user.
