CHILD INSPIRES BOOKS FOR PARENTS; MOM WRITES GUIDES FOR CLASSROOM GUESTS TO ENTHRALL STUDENTS.

Adrienne Anderson's writing career took off - literally - while she was flying cross-country 16 years ago with her daughter, then a newborn newborn /new·born/ (noo´born?)

Wanting to share the perils of traveling with a baby, Anderson made notes on her experience and later wrote an article that she promptly sold to a magazine.

When it came time to write her first book, Anderson's inspiration once again came from her daughter, by then in preschool.

As a member of the preschool's library committee, Anderson founded a guest readers program as an opportunity for community leaders to choose books and stories related to their occupations, hobbies It may never be fully completed or, depending on its its nature, it may be that it can never be completed. However, new and revised entries in the list are always welcome. This is a list of hobbies.  or other interests and read them to the youngsters.

``This shows that people from all walks of life can be role models and love to read,'' Anderson said. ``It's also a nice way for the community to connect with the schools.''

The program got rave reviews from teachers and parents, so Anderson pitched her idea to Huell Howser Huell Burnley Howser (born 18 October 1945 in Gallatin, Tennessee) is a television personality best-known for his travel shows for PBS affiliate KCET.

``After the show aired, I received so much great feedback, I decided to sit down and write `Firefighter - Read Me a Book!' '' she said.

Anderson's first book explains how to organize a guest reader program as a fun and effective way for educators and parents to motivate youngsters to read.

The book highlights stories, games, demonstration ideas, songs and activities that those in a given vocation or profession might enjoy reading and leading.

``At the time, I hadn't heard of anything like that. It just wasn't done,'' she said.

Anderson's idea caught on, and her publisher asked her to write a sequel for older children.

``Writing the second book was really not a problem. I'd followed my daughter to Medea Creek Middle School, and I still had all my notes about guest readers for older kids,'' she said.

``Medieval Knight - Read Me a Book!'' has been published as her second book.

``It's the same concept as the first book: a blueprint blueprint, white-on-blue photographic print, commonly of a working drawing used during building or manufacturing. The plan is first drawn to scale on a special paper or tracing cloth through which light can penetrate.  on how to put this program together,'' she said.
