CHI's management company subsidiary, Optima Healthcare Insurance Company (Optima), managed the conversion, configuration and implementation process.

With DTI's fully integrated, end-to-end insurance processing suite, CHI plans to replace their current arsenal of stand-alone and disparate systems to gain operational efficiency and accuracy through improved automation and seamless process flow between multiple locations. The OASIS solution will provide Optima insurance professionals with anywhere, anytime access to up-to-date and complete policy and claims information.

The DTI OASIS solution is being provided to CHI via an ASP-delivery model, making for both a cost- and time-effective implementation. The DTI/CHI system has been in production since March with additional CHI requirements continuing to be added to the system. Once fully implemented, the new system will be utilized to administer all of CHI's medical professional/general liability business.

Diane Abbett, Optima's CFO See Chief Financial Officer. , noted, "Our previous standalone stand·a·lone

And, given DTI's ASP model, we are able to make the leap in a very short period of time with low risk. What DTI offers is really the best of all worlds - technology, proven solutions, and the combination of insurance and technology expertise."
