CHEVRONTEXACO SIGNS AGREEMENT TO USE PAS PLANTSTATE SUITE.

ChevronTexaco has selected PAS's PlantState Suite alarm management and ControlWizard control loop performance management software for use in its global refineries.

The application of PAS's performance monitoring solutions will enable ChevronTexaco to improve reliability and increase plant safety by optimizing the performance of its operating facilities. The scope of this agreement also covers PAS's platform in dependent Real-time Alarm Management (RtAM) applications including master alarm database, audit and enforce and dynamic alarm management.

The global software licensing agreement is designed to facilitate expansion to other ChevronTexaco operations such as chemical plants and oil production facilities.

PlantState Suite (PSS) is comprised of a collection of fully integrated and DCS platform-independent applications that leverage the power of Microsoft.NET.
