CHEP Donates Bicycles to Local Charity.

The bicycles were assembled by CHEP employees as part of a team-building event at their annual Sales Meeting. All bikes were inspected after assembly by professionals. CHEP has worked with Devereux on several occasions during the past year, including organizing a toy drive last December and collecting prom dresses and formal wear in March.

"This team-building event allowed us to broaden our partnership with Devereux to include hundreds of our field-based employees. While everyone enjoyed building the bicycles, we were pleased to know Devereux will put them to good use," said Kevin Shuba, Senior Vice President, Sales, CHEP.

"The number one request from the kids in our care is to have a bicycle. We serve many kids in foster care with the majority of them arriving to us with nothing but a small bag of clothes, if even that much. To have the opportunity to give a child in foster care a bike means much more than words can express.
