Celebrate the joys and tastes of ice cream with Breyers' free Ice Cream Parlor Ice cream parlors are places that sell ice cream and frozen yogurt to consumers. Ice cream is normally sold in two varieties in these stores: soft-serve ice cream (normally with just chocolate, vanilla, and "twist", a mix of the two), and hard-packed, which has an assortment of  leaflet, Here's the Scoop! It includes recipes for a soda, shake and a couple of sundaes along with other quick creations and some ice cream trivia. For a copy, send your name and address to Breyers Here's the Scoop! The vented lids have a large lip, so they're easy to remove, and they snap onto the bottom of their respective containers for optimum storage. The design is available in individual bowls and casserole dishes, from $4 to $8 each; a 10-piece set costs $25 at most Target stores.

< Cold brew

Sure, we were skeptical. But Lipton's Cold Brew Blend, tea bags that brew iced tea in cold water in five minutes, works as promised. The tea tastes fine, if a bit bitter to some tasters (it contains no fat, sugar or calories). When you make it, follow the instructions (not the picture on the box, as we did): Pour cool water over the bags, let the tea brew, and then add the ice. A package of 48 tea bags (you need two for each 12-ounce glass) costs around $3 at supermarkets. A box of 24 larger bags for pitchers also is available for $3.
