ARSENAL striker Eduardo was embroiled in a cheat storm after firing the Gunners into the Champions League last night.

Eduardo enraged Celtic after going down under Polish keeper Artur Boruc's challenge to win a 28th-minute penalty which the Croatia star converted.

Television replays suggested Eduardo took a dive to win the spot-kick and the Arsenal striker was surrounded by angry Celtic players after the incident. ITV pundit Andy Townsend said: "It was a clear dive. He (Eduardo) has cheated to win the penalty as the keeper never touched him."

It turned last night.'s qualifier into a badtempered affair as Arsenal booked their passport into today's group draw in Monaco and a shot at the pounds 30m European jackpot.

Eduardo had several flare-ups with Celtic players as well as missing two glorious chances to put the tie beyond doubt.

Emmanuel Eboue sealed victory with a brilliantlytaken second goal in the 53rd minute. He was then booked for lifting his shirt above his head.

Substiute Andriy Arshavin, who replaced a jeered-off Eduardo in the 72nd minute, got a late third.
