CHC SIGNS CONTRACTS FOR MAJOR LABORATORY SYSTEM UPGRADES

 HOUSTON, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Health Computing Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: CHCC) has announced that it has signed the following Third Quarter contracts for major LabCare(TM), laboratory information system upgrades:
 -- Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, a 492-bed acute care
 facility in the Bronx, N.Y.;
 -- University of North Carolina Hospital, a 665-bed acute care
 facility in Chapel Hill, N.C.;
 -- St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, a 747-bed acute care facility in
 Houston;
 -- Geisinger Medical Center, a 577-bed acute care facility in
 Danville, Pa.;
 -- Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, a 548-bed acute
 care facility in Ft. Meyers, Fla.;
 -- Daughters of Charity, a 630-bed acute care facility in
 Evansville, Ind.;
 -- Queens Hospital Center, a 581-bed acute care facility in
 Jamaica, N.Y.
 CHC develops, provides, and supports enterprise-wide healthcare information systems, which utilize UNIX-based open systems computer architecture, for nearly 290 hospitals and other healthcare facilities primarily in North America and the United Kingdom.
