: FLYAF) announced today that it intends to make a normal course issuer bid pursuant to the rules of The Toronto Stock Exchange Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE)

Canada's largest stock exchange, trading approximately 1,200 company stocks and 33 options.
 (the "Exchange"). Under the bid (which is subject to regulatory approval), the Company will have the right to purchase, beginning November 19, 1998, through the facilities of the Exchange, up to a maximum of 1,012,947 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares Voting Shares

Shares that give the stockholder the right to vote on matters of corporate policy making as well as who will compose the members of the board of directors.

Notes:
Different classes of shares, such as preferred stock, sometimes don't allow for voting rights.
 (representing 10% of the public float of Class A Subordinate Voting Shares). All shares purchased under the bid will be cancelled. There are currently 12,754,439 Class A Subordinate Voting Shares issued and outstanding. The normal course issuer bid will remain in effect until approximately November 18, 1999 or until the Company has purchased the maximum number of shares permitted under the bid.

The Company wishes to provide increased liquidity to the market with respect to the Subordinate Voting Shares and believes that the Issuer Bid will increase the liquidity of such shares. Furthermore, the Company believes that Subordinate Voting Shares may become available during the proposed purchase period at prices which would make them attractive investments for the Company.
