The Notes will be redeemed on January 15, 1999 at a price of 105% of the principal amount. CHC has irrevocably deposited with a trustee sufficient funds to provide for the redemption of the Notes and payment of interest to the redemption date Redemption date The date on which a bond matures or is redeemed. redemption date The date on which a debt security is scheduled to be redeemed by the issuer. The notes had been issued in 1993 in an aggregate principal amount of U.S.$85,000,000, although the aggregate principal amount outstanding has been reduced through open market purchases of Notes made by CHC from time to time.
