The Notes will be redeemed on January 15, 1999 at a price of 105% of the principal amount. CHC has irrevocably deposited with a trustee sufficient funds to provide for the redemption of the Notes and payment of interest to the redemption date Redemption date

. The trustee will hold such funds for the benefit of holders of the Notes. By depositing such funds with the trustee, CHC has been released from various covenants contained in the Indenture pursuant to which the Notes were issued.

The notes had been issued in 1993 in an aggregate principal amount of U.S.$85,000,000, although the aggregate principal amount outstanding has been reduced through open market purchases of Notes made by CHC from time to time.
