CHC Composites Secures $25 Million Order.

CHC Helicopter Corporation (CHC) (TSX:FLY.A) (TSX:FLY.B) (NYSE: FLI) is pleased to announce that its operating subsidiary, CHC Composites Inc., based in Gander, Canada, has entered into a five-year agreement with Aero Vodochody A.S. of the Czech Republic for the provision of composite aerospace components for the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter.

The agreement will generate anticipated revenues of CDN $5 million each year for five years. Under the terms of the agreement, CHC Composites will provide approximately 122 different manufactured components to Aero Vodochody for the Sikorsky S-76.

Preparation work and the installation of tooling equipment at the CHC Composites facility in Gander will take place in the summer and fall of this year. Production is expected to begin before the end of 2003.

CHC Composites was successful in obtaining this internationally competitive contract by being the lowest-cost, quality provider for these aerospace components.

Aero Vodochody is the exclusive provider of complete aero structures for the Sikorsky S-76 C+ helicopter. Established in 1919, Aero Vodochody manufactures light combat aircraft and provides aerospace components and structures for Boeing, Bombardier, Sikorsky, IBIS Aerospace and others.
