CHC CORP. FILES FOR INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING

 HOUSTON, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Health Computing Corp. (the "company") announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to an initial public offering of 2.0 million shares (approximately 1.8 million of which are being offered by the company, with the remaining shares being offered by certain stockholders) of its common stock. The proposed offering is to be underwritten by a group of underwriters headed by Montgomery Securities and Piper Jaffray Inc. The company and certain of its stockholders also intend to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an aggregate of 300,000 additional shares to cover over-allotments.
 Community Health Computing Corp. develops, provides and supports information systems for hospitals and other healthcare facilities primarily in North America and the United Kingdom.
 A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
