Reveche will coach against his younger daughter Sept. 21 when Chaminade faces Campbell Hall at Valley College.

Chaminade athletic director Joe Shapiro also announced this week that Chaminade was one of nine high schools to be recognized as a ``Champion for Character School'' during the 2005-06 school year by Southern Section officials.

Recent Chaminade graduates Kelly Korras and Peter Ma were selected ``Champions for Character'' by Southern Section officials based on their positive attitudes, leadership abilities, sportsmanship and academic excellence.

A memorial service for Dee Kohlmeier, who served as athletic director for 31 years at Hoover High of Glendale, has been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 4 at the Hoover gymnasium. Kohlmeier died Saturday of natural causes at age 86.
