CHATTER: LAMPERT'S SWING TRANSFERS TO THE LINKS.Byline: Lee Barnathan Staff Writer She wasn't known in softball circles, but she's on her way to being known on the golf course. Chaminade of West Hills' Holly Lampert played outfield and second base for the softball team last year that reached the Southern Section final. She won't return because she has found golf to be her sport. Although just 5-foot-4, Lampert drives a ball about 240 yards, helping her handicap to drop to 7.3. She has been medalist in five high school matches, most recently Wednesday against Calabasas at Westlake Country Club. She shot 3-over-par 34 in her team's 10-stroke victory. ``I never took lessons,'' she said. ``I just started in high school. I love to practice. I love to play. I love the competition. I've met so many people.'' Her freshman year coincided with the start of girls' golf. Lampert was one of the original six members. The Eagles are 9-3 with her as their No. 1 golfer. . . .
