Harvard-Westlake of Studio City girls' soccer standout Bridget Ballard, the Southern Section Div. I Co-Player of the Year, has committed to Brown.

Ballard, who helped the Wolverines reach their first Southern Section Div. I final, was selected Mission League Most Valuable Player and shared Div. I's top honor with Upland junior Lauren Barnes, a U.S. under-17 national team defender.

Ballard, a sweeper/central midfielder, led Harvard-Westlake to its fifth consecutive league title.

Weber could be pivotal as the Indians seek their ninth consecutive Foothill League title.
