Victor Barba's 32-yard attempt was blocked with 47 seconds remaining and La Canada took over at its own 18-yard line. Duke McCaffrey completed two consecutive passes to move the Spartans down to Glendale's 38-yard line with 28 seconds left. But McCaffrey was sacked on the next two plays to end the game.
