The right-hander also struck out six in two innings of relief against a Centurions team that had defeated Simi Valley a few weeks earlier. Gaughen earned three saves and allowed one run during the tournament. At the plate, he was 4 for 9, with three extra-base hits.

In 11 1/3 innings this season, Gaughen has 17 strikeouts, four savesand a 1.24 ERA.
