Though a potential war with Iraq could affect the status of the state high school basketball playoffs this weekend in Sacramento, the Harvard-Westlake of Studio City boys' team expects to play its state Div. III championship game against Foothill of Sacramento at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at Arco Arena Coordinates:

The California Interscholastic Federation The California Interscholastic Federation (abbreviated CIF) is the governing body for high school sports in the state of California. ``But then I look across the gym and I see Wayne Gretzky sitting over there and I think, `Obviously he must be the most famous person in the gym.' ''

Gretzky, whose son attends Oaks Christian Middle School, was watching the game with his wife.

But Arnold wasn't done.

``But then I look over my shoulder and I see the mailman from the TV show `Cheers' sitting over there, and he trumps both of you guys,'' Arnold said. ``So he's the most famous person in the gym!''

Sure enough, actor John Ratzenberger, who played mailman Cliff Clavin on ``Cheers,'' was watching the game.

Westphal just laughed.
