Birmingham High of Lake Balboa will host the first San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills.
 Classic softball all-star game An all-star game is an exhibition game played by the best players in their sports league. The players are often chosen by a popular vote of fans of the sport and the game often occurs at the halfway point of the regular season, although this is not the case for some all-star games  Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. There will be a home-run hitting contest starting at 3:30.

Alemany of Mission Hills coach Regina Hernandez will coach the East team and Birmingham's Jim Rose Jim Rose may refer to a number of persons:

The West is led by El Camino Real El Camino Real (Spanish for The Royal Road or The King's Highway) was the name of a series of pre-automobile highways linking the various New World colonies of Spain:

Valencia High golfer Louis Amira has played his last match for the Vikings. Amira, one of the area's top golfers, is moving to Florida because his father, Mike, got a job at the Jim McLean James Yuille "Jim" McLean (born 1937) is a Scottish former football player and manager. He is best known for his 22-year spell as manager of Dundee United; the longest-serving and most successful manager in the club's history, he led them to three major honours and established them  Golf School at Doral Resort & Spa in Miami.

Despite losing to Kennedy of Granada Hills in the City Section championship game, Chatsworth finished the year as the highest-ranked area baseball team in Cal-Hi Sports' final state poll.

The Chancellors, ranked fifth by Cal High Sports, led a group of eight teams in the year-end top 50. Kennedy, which knocked off No.23 El Camino Real of Woodland Hills and Chatsworth in a five-day stretch to win its seventh title, finished 16th.

Agoura (19th), Valencia (22nd), Newbury Park (40th), St. Francis of La Canada Flintridge (44th) and Quartz Hill (45th) rounded out the list of area teams.

Oaks Christian of Westlake Village standouts Jimmy Clausen, Marc Tyler and Marshall Jones were recognized on Rivals.com's list of the top 100 prep football players in the Class of 2007.
