Freestyle wrestling is a form of amateur wrestling that is practiced throughout the world.
 Championships in the 152-pound division Sunday in Cypress, his third career freestyle title.

``It was kind of a hard tournament but it was easy for me because I've been wrestling freestyle all my life,'' Atmeziyan said.

More than 600 teen-age wrestlers participated in the two-day tournament.

Atmeziyan, a junior, won the City Section 152-pound championship for Birmingham this past season and added one victory at the CIF (1) (Common Intermediate Format) A standard video format used in videoconferencing. CIF formats are defined by their resolution, and standards both above and below the original resolution have been established. The original CIF is also known as Full CIF (FCIF).  State Championships in Stockton in March.

Teammate Andy Dermenjian, 18, placed third in the Cypress tournament in the 140-pound division. His only loss was by one point to Ricky Turk of Lake Arrowhead Lake Arrowhead may refer to:

``It was difficult. I had some tough matches but I was well prepared,'' Dermenjian said. ``I did pretty well, but the refs weren't so good. They didn't give me some points that I should have had. If they did, I might have won.'' ...
